From: "Sandee Mott" To: [ RMAC FARs ] SUBJECT: 2009-10 NCAA Division II Coaches Certification Test will be available online Monday, March 30. The NCAA is proud to announce the release of the 2009-10 NCAA Division II Coaches Certification Test. The online testing program allows coaches to take the test via the Internet and features automatic timing and scoring, instant feedback and the ability for conferences and institutions to track and save online scores for all staff members completing the test. [ password information redacted ] Another feature of the coaches certification test is its ability to interact with the NCAA Compliance Assistant (CA). If an institution is using the CA system and has entered information regarding their coaches, the names of the institution's coaches will be carried over to the coaches certification test. Additionally, once a coach passes the test, the CA screen for that coach will indicate that the coach has passed the test. Please note that hard-copy versions of the test and Scantron sheets will not be produced or sent to conferences. The 2009-10 online test has the capability of generating a unique hard-copy version that may be administered to coaching staff members. Please see the test instructions for more information. Should a coaching staff member take a hard-copy test, it is required that the results be registered online. The addition of these test scores to the online system allows for more accurate tracking and complete conference statistics. In accordance with the provisions of NCAA Bylaw 11.5 (certification to recruit off campus), enclosed are the instructions for accessing the online Division II coaches certification test. The test outline, procedures, instructions, certifying administrator form, legislative summary, American Football Coaches Association Code of Ethics Article Seven and the frequently asked questions document are accessible online at the path below and may be printed for hard copy distribution. Further, these documents will be accessible at any time during the administration of online test.
