Don't forget that tomorrow morning, January 19, TELEHOUSE, with co-hosts Globix and Invisible Hand Networks, will hold its free, monthly BREAKFAST ON BROADWAY seminar. If you have not registered, please do so today.

This month's seminar focuses on podcasting. According to Forrester Research podcasting should have 12.3M listeners by 2010. Globix's media services unit will lead a discussion about what is needed to podcast, how it compares to other methods of delivering media content over the network, and its overall impact on the Internet. They will bring their expertise in hosting and distribution and the ability to leverage 1,200 peering agreements to deliver podcasts and other audio/video broadcasts. Invisible Hand Networks will bring their expertise in bandwidth market trends to a presentation about podcasting's business models and traffic patterns relative to those of online streaming of audio and video, internet gaming and entertainment software delivery.

Co-host Globix is a New York-based, premier Internet Infrastructure outsourcing partner that offers a comprehensive, single-source solution for every Internet need from management of web applications, servers and databases, to security, streaming, network bandwidth and collocation facilities. They use a modular, flexible, building-block approach that lets companies tailor the ideal outsourced solution to augment their IT team's capabilities and ensures they realize the maximum business benefit from their Internet Infrastructure investment and sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Co-host Invisible Hand Networks (IHN), founded in 1998, is changing the way bandwidth is bought and sold via an innovative software platform, Merkato™, which dynamically prices and allocates bandwidth in real-time, creating true market-based bandwidth-on-demand services. Merkato enables customers to buy bandwidth automatically on an “as-needed”, real-time basis. Using the Merkato platform, IHN operates a real-time IP bandwidth exchange in the NYC metro area at 25B, 111 8th and 165 Halsey. Merkato is the only platform allowing a full range of bandwidth buyers, from content providers to ISPs and from physically connected to purely virtual participants, to purchase bandwidth on a fully automated real-time market basis.

Seminar TIME & DATE: 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 19th. LOCATION: BROADWAY Center @ 25 Broadway, 6th floor in Manhattan. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served. And please bring a guest too! .....All we ask is that you bring an open mind, a willingness to contribute to the discussion, and a friendly smile. We know you will come away with ideas to achieve your own strategic needs.
