Membership:Assam Society of America is a social and cultural organization that unites the Assamese community in North America.
If you would like to become a member, please fill the form at the bottom of this page and send it to the address given in the form. The membership rates are US$25 for a family, US$15 for an individual, and US$1 for a student. Please note that we can accept only US currency. Membership will entitle you to a newsletter several times a year, one or more issues of the magazine Asomi, and a directory listing the Assamese people in North America. You may also recieve other communications from time to time.

Book Publication: ASA is planning to publish several books on Assamese culture and literature. In 1995, ASA published a book called Amerikar Asomi (The Little Assam in America). It is edited by Dr. Umesh Deka, a professor of Assamese at Gauhati University. It contains about 70 articles, stories, and poems written by members of the Assamese community in North America.
