AREAS OF INTEREST

• Artificial Intelligence: I am interested in natural language understanding, machine learning, expert systems.
• Bioinformatics: I am interested in modeling and simulation of biological processes, applications of machine learning to problems in bioinformatics and computational biology, information retrieval and natural language processing in the context of biomedical and other domains
• Information Retrieval: Search engines, indexing, phrase search, etc.
• Computer Security: I am interested primarily in applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to issues in comptuer security such as Intrusion Detection.
